Amaravati is the capital city of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is envisaged to develop a memorial centre at Amaravati in memory of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar over a land parcel of 20 Acres. The proposed project is intended for developing the country's best memorial centre of international standards. The project will have a 125 ft. tall statue of Dr. B.R Ambedkar adjacent to Secretariat in memory of the great leader. The project would also comprise of memorial library, dhyan kendram, open air theatre and convention centre along with facilities and necessary components which would add value to the project. The project also envisages memorial hall with life events of Dr.Ambedkar in graphical and life size models, a state-of-art experience theatre and a memorial park along with musical fountains and laser show.
