The proposed Interstate Bus Terminus being constructed in Haldwani provides an innovative and open plan for seamless movement of commuters, buses and private vehicles. Responding to the local climate and vista, the design incorporates natural ventilation for comfort of the passengers. The hotel and retail facilities are integrated into the building providing safe access for the commuters at all times of the day. The support facilities required for the operation of the facility including drivers rest areas, maintenance sheds, cleaning bays and overnight parking bays are located conveniently within the project and providing ample space for future expansion. The project will act as a gateway to the hills of Uttarakhand.
