Set within North Dublin's beautiful Malahide Demesne Regional Park, in the grounds of the historic Malahide Castle, the location is a natural choice as the new 'Home of Irish cricket'. The development of facilities will enable Ireland to continue to host international matches on a regular basis. Cricket Ireland has planned a phased development of the stadium and creating world class Facilities compliant with ICC Guidelines. The design has been crafted to merge with the landscape and extend the gardens to the roof of the Pavilion creating a new identity. The pavilion building will house the technical requirements of cricket including player's amenities, technical teams, Media and Broadcasting facilities in addition to the Malahide Cricket Club.
